‘Abyssal’ are an experimental trio featuring James Gardener (trumpet), Tom Pountney (guitar/electronics) and Jonno Gaze (drums). The group play ambient, improvised music with an electronic edge – creating cinematic soundscapes inspired by everything from Taku Sugimoto to Jon Hassell, to Radiohead.
