The Dissonance Collective is a group of musicians and artists who create free improvised objects.
People often talk about projects, TDC creates objects. Projects are worked on and planned whereas each TDC performance represents a chunk of time (or time/space to be Einsteinian about it) which exists with or without their input. They choose to fill a designated moment with unplanned sound, as an object. The collective, created in Nov 2019, currently consists of 5 members; Charlie Wells, Dave Parker, Matt Wells, Robert Kentell and Susie Jones and being a collective rather than a band means the line up for any object is not pre defined and can consist of all or just some of the members. It is not for the TDC to define the music they play and leave tags and genres to the audience and critics, what else is there to say?
