I believe in experience. In the immaterial impact of experience, because it’s the only thing that lasts.
I am an active performer in the field of contemporary classical music. In that context I perform as a member of the Distractfold Ensemble.
I have a genuine interest in collaborative projects, including dance companies, sonic ensembles, and personal bodies, gesture, performance, metaphysical manifestations of intention, as well as muscular information received via material agencies.
I was a member of Lucerne Festival Academy Orchestra from 2007 to 2009 and took part in the International Ensemble Modern Academy during the Klangspuren Festival in 2010. Since April 2011, I have worked at Chetham’s School of Music. I have worked with the London-based dance company New Movement Collective on their show “Casting Traces” and played in “Sutra” by the Belgian choreographer Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui.
My life as a creative entity began at four when I heard Lutoslawski’s 2nd symphony, and I decided to dedicate myself to the violin. Since then I’ve discovered the most important thing I could be doing has been to never have a boring life. And the most interesting thing has been to discover and uncover new and exciting sound worlds in which I can exist and flourish. This is the most important thing I could be doing in terms of my own development and personal pursuit of human understanding.
