This podcast literally takes you on a journey – by interspersing a variety of influential tracks with field recordings from inside a train. I recommend a fun game to enhance the experience of listening – listen to it at not quite full volume on a train and become aurally confused! Observe your mood when you arrive. I always go through strange listening sprees, moods and reflections when traveling and since podcasts, are sometimes for when one is on the move, I thought I’d explore that idea. There is a loose theme of drones and non-equal temperament, but also some plain madness. A particular favorite of mine is the track by Tobie Miller who I met at the annual Hurdy Gurdy festival, she mesmerized everybody with her stunning sound.
